Work has begun to build a new bridge in the Çam village of Almus district to replace the outdated wooden bridge used by the villagers for nearly 50 years. The bridge works initiated by the contractor company and the company that carries out the construction of the HEPP in the region made the villagers happy. The bridge, which will shorten the road from Tozanlı Stream to Reşadiye district by 14 kilometers, is expected to be completed in a short time.
Ünal Demir, from the local people, thanked Tokat Governor Mustafa Taşkesen for supporting the construction of the bridge, Naci and Ercan Ekşi and Kadir Demirci, who undertook the construction of the bridge, and said, “We thank those who undertook the construction of the bridge, which has been the dream of the local people for years. This bridge will be put into use in other villages in the region and will shorten the Reşadiye road connection significantly ”.
Naci Ekşi making the bridge will continue to contribute to the region, he said.
