Ankara-Istanbul YHT line will be connected to Marmaray in 2015: With the completion of the higher standard section between Geyve-Sapanca, which was later projected after the Ankara-Istanbul YHT Line was put into service, the travel time between Ankara-Istanbul (Pendik) was 3 hours 15 minutes, and Ankara-Gebze travel time will be reduced to 3 hours. The line between Geyve and Arifiye will be used by conventional trains. With the completion of the second part of the project, the journey between Istanbul and Ankara will be 3 hours, and the journey between Ankara and Pendik will be 2 hours and 45 minutes.

In the first phase, the last stop will be Pendik and the line will be extended to Söğütlüçeşme station. Ankara-Istanbul YHT line will be connected to Marmaray at 2015 and Halkalıto reach. Daily 16 expeditions will be organized. Once connected to Marmaray, every 15 will take place every minute or half an hour.
