Kütahyada Level Crossing Accident 3 Injured: 3 people in the car colliding with the train at the uncontrolled level crossing in Kütahya were injured.
According to the information obtained, the freight train number 73048, which made the Balıkesir-Eskişehir expedition, hit the 48 SH 43 plate car under the direction of Metin Gündüz (364), who was trying to pass the road at the level crossing in Bahçelievler District. While the car was thrown off the rails in the accident, the driver Metin Gündüz and his wife Ayşe (45) and his son Ahmet Gündüz (7) were injured. The injured were taken to Dumlupınar University (DPÜ) Kütahya Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital by ambulance and treated. The railway, which was closed to transportation for about 1 hour due to the accident, was opened after the train was taken to Kütahya Station.
Meanwhile, residents reported that an accident occurred in the area in question and asked for an electronic barrier to the railway.
