First Stage Work Completed On Tem Highway Closed For 81 Days

First Stage Study Completed on the 81-Day Tem Highway: The first stage study between the Gebze Junction and Körfez Junction of the TEM Highway, which has been closed for 81 days, is completed.
The first stage work between the Gebze Junction and Körfez Junction of TEM Highway, which has been closed for 81 days, has been completed. The second phase works between Körfez Junction and Izmit East Junction will start on 19 May. During the study, alternative roads were identified and traffic measures were taken.
The superstructure and isolation renovation works of the viaducts in the sections between Gebze Junction and Izmit East Junction of TEM Highway by the General Directorate of Highways are carried out. Within the scope of the mentioned study, the first phase works of the highway between Gebze Junction and Körfez Junction (Istanbul-Ankara direction) were completed. The second phase, the TEM Highway between Körfez Junction and Izmit East Junction in Ankara direction, will start on May 2 and end on June 19. In the second stage, maintenance work will be carried out on the highway between Körfez Turnstiles and Uzunçiftlik Turnstiles in the direction of Ankara.
Highways 1. Work was carried out with the participation of Regional Directorate, Provincial Security Directorate, Traffic Inspection Department, Security Regional Traffic Directorate and Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality officials. By the authorities, alternative routes were determined in the working period and necessary traffic measures were taken. TEM Motorway Bay Junction between the İzmit Junction and the TEM Highway will be closed to the car traffic and vehicle traffic will be directed to the determined routes during the studies. The D-100 was asked not to set off on the road with the special vehicles of the road, so as not to cause traffic density.
