Loubinoux: Turkey is a major player in the field of railways: International Union of Railways (UIC) "11. The European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS) World Conference ”started in Haliç Congress Center under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications and in cooperation with TCDD.

Following the opening speeches, the 11th ERTMS World Conference continued with various sessions focusing on the general theme of “worldwide optimization of signaling investments”. The conference, where Turkish and European experience on ERTMS will be shared, will continue tomorrow.

ERTMS is an EU-supported traffic management system for the development of signaling equipment by providing interoperability in border crossings and the creation of a single standard train control and control system across Europe.
