İsmail Usta, one of the shopkeepers who stated that the transportation to the Alucra, Çamoluk and Şebinkarahisar districts was difficult until the beginning of the winter season in Giresun, said, “Eğribel is a gateway for transportation for 5-6 months of the year. In the winter season, transportation becomes impossible. Let the normal drivers suffer from minibuses in our citizens who have to use this road. Alucra, Çamoluk and Şebinkarahisar districts of Giresun cannot go to their provinces for 5-6 months. It is not possible to see those who have already come and gone apart from the administrative affairs they are obliged to. Therefore, tunneling to Eğribel will meet an important need. ”
Stating that the tender for the Eğribel Tunnel will be held on April 14, AK Party Giresun Provincial Chairman Hasan Aydın said, “One of Giresun's mega projects has come to the final stage. The construction tender for the Eğribel Tunnel, which has been on the agenda of our city for many years, is held on April 14. 6 companies that are qualified for this tender will be invited to submit proposals. With this tender, not only the Eğribel Tunnel, but also Dereli-Şebinkarahisar, Sivas Suşehri connection roads are included. "The place will be delivered and the work will be started within 15 days after the tender is made and the contract is signed. In addition, the work is over 215 days from the place delivery."
