Admission of the first of the expected Fast Train tenders (PRIVATE NEWS)

The first of the expected high speed train tenders has been announced: The expected high speed train tenders will be auctioned for 10 units. 2014 / 36067 will be on auction 09.05.2014 for auction high speed trains. The 10 includes a yearly maintenance and cleaning job as well as the 3 fast train set. It is known that the need for high speed train 106 units were explained by TCDD.

The desired speed for YHT trains will be a maximum of 250 km / h. According to the TSI high-speed train regulations, this tender (250 km / h) is defined as a high-speed train tender. The previous tender (300 km / h speed trains) is described as a very high speed train. Siemens won the tender with Velaro.

Siemens' strongest rival, the Zefiro train, the product of the Bombardier-Ansaldo partnership, is also suitable for this tender. To be honest, both trains are superior engineering and design works. We had witnessed a duel of German engineering and Italian design in the 6-tender YHT Train purchase tender. Siemens won the tender with a price difference. However, Zefiro gained the admiration of the Administration with its advantage in the number of passengers and its interior artistic design.
We expect players to increase in this tender…

RayHaberAccording to the information received by, the companies that will participate in the tender are as follows:
Siemens (Germany), Alstom (France), CAF (Spain), CNR (China), Hitachi (Japan), ROTEM (Korea).

Siemens Velaro price 32 M Euro
Siemens' Verola may have to make some train related changes at 300 km / h and for this tender, or it may remain expensive if the same train is offered. This, together with the Russian Velaro 250 km / h according to speed, but needs to be adapted to conditions in Turkey. The price level in the 6 sets tender was about 32 million Euros. In the long term, the Administration has proven its high speed train fleet and it is advantageous in terms of maintenance and lifetime cost from a certain type of vehicle and its manufacturer. In this context, Siemens stands out. Zefiro has a 250 km / h train, but this train (CRH1) was sold to China and TSI compliance needs to be demonstrated.

Alstom, whose previous tender price was extremely high, has an AGV train, but it is also suitable for 300 km / h speed and is similar to Siemens. However, Alstom has a Pendolino train suitable for a speed of 250 km / h and the sales are very good now. Its name is now referred to as "New Pendolino". The Pendolino sold to Poland is quite satisfied with the Administration and the price level is also very competitive. For example, the contract price signed in 2011, the train price was 20 million Euros. Even the Pendolino trains bogies Durmazlar company had produced. In this context, it is a train that will benefit both the domestic market and will have a price advantage. The New Pendoline is 187 m long and consists of 7 vehicles.

Along with these, CAF, which previously sold 12 trains to TCDD, stands out in this tender. The maximum speed of the HT65000 was 250 km / h. The train is accepted by the Administration and its price was 18 million Euros in the previous auction. However, these trains were 150 m long and consisted of 6 vehicles. In this tender, a 200-meter train in accordance with TSI is requested. It is very lucky in this tender due to its acceptance from the Administration and the price level.

If the Chinese CNR is willing to have a say in this tender, the issue is not what we expect. 6 was left out of technical evaluation as it is known in the very high speed train tender.

Other than that, there is Hitachi who made a similar train. But now they are interested in the Turkey market and trains (Class 395) is currently a top speed of 225 km / h and 250 km / h E needs improving. This can cause problems in terms of qualification condition. They offered to cooperate with Mitsubishi-Hitachi in 2005 sets of train tender in 10 and their price levels were 19.98 million Euros. Mitsubishi Turkey in recent years had started to increase interest in the railway market.

Another important train manufacturer, Rotem, is not known how to act in this project. He doesn't have a decentralized train that he did at 250 km / h and he is dealing with the homologous of 300 km / h HRX.

It is expected that the prices of CAF and Alstom will compete with priority in this tender. Compared to the prices they gave in previous auctions, they can give a price below 20 million Euros per piece. Velaro and Zefiro can surprise you. Chinese, Japanese and Korean manufacturers can give competitive price.

In order to bid for the tender, it is sufficient to have sold and accepted electric train sets with a distributed power drive system with a draw frame IGBT / IGCT control, AC / AC drive system, a maximum speed of 250 km / h or higher. It seems sufficient that even one of these trains has been sold and accepted according to the desired criteria. In addition, it is possible for companies that have not produced before to submit a capacity report.

However, although the price and evaluation criteria per seat will be decisive, the delivery time of the vehicles has become very important. The company, which will deliver vehicles between 9 and 15 months, must have completed the design and TSI certificate / homologation. In this context, it is an advantage for Siemens that Siemens continues to produce 6 very High Speed trains. However, it will be an advantage for Alstom that Pendolino is still in production. Although Chinese manufacturers are producing a new train within these periods, both TSI certification and technical competencies can be troublesome.

Considering the firms that have received the tender documents, the tender is expected to be a challenging competition.
