Since its establishment, TÜLOMSAŞ, which is the center of production, maintenance, repair and revision of the main lines and maneuvering locomotives of our country as well as various types of freight wagons and sub-components of these products, continues its activities to fulfill this mission at the highest level. Besides this mission; railway side industry and rail systems cluster, the establishment of a railway test center, the production of new generation locomotives with domestic contribution to the service of our country, logistics companies to meet the needs of the freight wagon, the national locomotive project is working under the scope of modernization of tramway vehicles. With its experience and know-how, 119 is a large industrial corporation that meets the needs of our country's railroad-pulling vehicles. TÜLOMSAŞ is proud to be a public institution with its contributions to our country's economy and employment. Our goal is to reach the vision of 2015-2023 is a TÜLOMSAŞ which increases our economic parameters in a positive way. In the sectoral structure, not only targeting the railway sector but also the production for the maritime sector; Diesel engine set production for Van Lake ferries was started.

Cooperation with TÜBİTAK and Universities is maintained in order to increase our market share in the world railway market, to increase the domestic rate in manufacturing and to develop original projects. The original scope of the project and our ongoing major projects: Turkey's First National Electric Locomotives for the design and production of "E1000 Type Electric Locomotive Development" Project, with the support of TCDD is continued cooperation with TUBITAK and TULOMSAS. which for the first time in Turkey within the scope of indigenization and traction converters manufactured by a few companies in the world, Central Control Unit, Control Panel and Traction Control Unit 's design and manufacture has been completed. Another project of ours is the Light Weight Wagon Project. The tare of the currently used wagons is 24 tons on average.

With this project, the wagon tare will be reduced to 19,7 tons, and 4,3 tons per wagon and 12 tons more cargo per 51,6-wagon train will be able to be transported. With the support of TCDD, the Lightweight Freight Wagon design and prototype manufacturing project continues with the cooperation of TÜLOMSAŞ, ITU and TÜBİTAK within the scope of public projects. The project is a multi-purpose, new platform wagon design; It is one of the most demanded and needed wagon types by TCDD and logistics companies. Thanks to the production of the wagon, a product that can be transported under modern conditions in domestic service and competes in the international market will be developed and the country will be earned foreign currency.
Rail Systems Test Center, on the other hand, continues our activities for the R&D and test center, which is supported by TÜLOMSAŞ and is being established in Eskişehir. Studies on the applicability of the project

It was carried out by a team led by TÜLOMSAŞ. The Rail Systems Center of Excellence project, which is planned to be established by Anadolu University within the scope of this project, has been approved by the DPT. Turkey will be a single center. The studies for the center of excellence are carried out with Anadolu University, TCDD, TÜLOMSAŞ and other affiliated partnerships. Procedure studies are ongoing for the establishment of the test center in the Alpu district.
Can you get information about your sectoral activities in domestic and international markets?

We export our products to countries such as the USA, Iraq, Iran, Thailand and France. The leading products we export are locomotives, locomotive spare parts, diesel engine, traction engine and parts. Our locomotives, which will be produced in cooperation with TÜLOMSAŞ-ROTEM in Electric Locomotive, will take its place in domestic and international markets as of 2013. It is aimed to produce 72 locomotives in three years. In Diesel Electric locomotive; The first locomotive produced in cooperation with TÜLOMSAŞ-GE will be put on the market in September at the International Railway Fair in Berlin. Initially, it is aimed to produce 50 locomotives per year as soon as possible, with a minimum of 100 locomotives per year.

The "Strategic Partnership Agreement" signed between TÜLOMSAŞ and GE for the joint production of new generation European platform locomotives was signed on 09.11.2012 and entered into force.

Customer wages are fully met on the Wagon. The annual production is planned to be produced as 1000 wagon. The existing industrial infrastructure in our country is very suitable for this manufacturing.

The freight wagons that the logistics companies need are met by our company since 2007. TULOMSAS meets the needs of various types (tarpaulin, container, sliding wall, ore, cistern, grain, etc.) freight wagon.

TÜLOMSAŞ manufactures traction motors for light rail vehicles. The production of traction motors for Marmaray vehicles is carried out at TÜLOMSAŞ. Within the scope of localization, the local production of traction motors for use in DE 33000 type locomotives for TCDD has started. 50 percent savings were achieved per product. Annual production is planned as one thousand units.

Wheel-axle kit assembly and Cer motorized bogie assembly of Marmaray vehicles are performed in TÜLOMSAŞ. The annual production is planned as 5000 pieces.
We meet the modernization and modification needs of the municipalities. 15 pieces tram modernization was carried out for Gaziantep Municipality.

We aim to be the world brand of our company's products and to exceed 2023 billion euro sales turnover in 1. Our 250 targets are to provide a minimum of 30 million euro to our sub-industry, to make our region a railway vehicle production center and to create a sector where approximately 2023 will be employed.
As TÜLOMSAŞ, our strategic aim is; is the redefinition and structuring of the rail systems sector according to industry terminology in our country.

NATIONAL TRAIN STUDIES STARTED

TÜLOMSAŞ, the factory of the firsts, started to work to produce the National High Speed ​​Train. 17 In the press launch in December, the former Minister of Transport Binali Yildirim announced that the National Train Project will be TÜLOMSAŞ. In addition to TÜLOMSAŞ, the Istanbul Technical University, Aselsan and 153 private sector companies will be the solution partners of the project. R & D will receive support from TUBITAK. The project is aimed at saving around 3 million dollars. Turkish workers and Turkish engineers will produce high-speed trains on tracks until 2018.
