The First Stage of Ordu Ring Road Tunnels Opened: The first stage of the tunnels under construction within the scope of the "Ordu Ring Road Project", one of the most challenging parts of the Black Sea coastal road project, was opened.
The first stage of the tunnels with a length of 6500 m, which is built by Polin Energy and has an important place in the Ordu Ring Road Project, the 'Öceli Tunnel' was opened. Murat Erdivan, one of the founding partners of Polin Energy, said, “The Black Sea coastal road project was opened to traffic in 2007 with the aim of ensuring the standards required for transit traffic in the Black Sea and reducing the local traffic load. However, Ordu city crossing was the most time-lost and most blocked section on the coast road, which was 542 km in total. Heavy vehicle traffic and vehicles carrying dangerous goods still pass through Ordu city center, and this brings serious risks. "These risks will be reduced with Ordu Ring Road."
