Earthquake, flood, avalanche, such as natural disasters in the intervention of the civil defense search and rescue teams competing over time, with the goal of renewing themselves with the trainings, to minimize the loss of life and property in a possible disaster.

In the training of the teams who are avalanche training at Konaklı Ski Center, there are unrealistic images.

Civil Defense Search and Rescue Chief Zafer Özcan, AA correspondent, said the main purpose of the training to create a team that can do the right intervention in a short time, he said.

Stating that they have the best expert staff in the region, Özcan said:

“During the year, we receive practical trainings at certain intervals. Some trainings are in the hall, while others are in places that reflect the state of the environment in case of a possible disaster. As it is known, our region is a place where natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and avalanches are frequently met. Of course, no one wants to experience natural disasters. However, in the event of a disaster, we need to form a well-equipped team to make the most accurate response in a short time. For this reason, our friends receive continuous education by adding their nights to the day, and thanks to these trainings, a fully equipped expert team emerges. ”

Özcan stated that the trainings are also important for the personnel to specialize in the self and said:

“Thanks to the practical trainings we do throughout the year, our new friends who join our association, which constantly renews itself and have a dynamic staff, are thus more specialized. It is very important for us in the areas where the trainings are given. The more successful we are in applied training, the more success we will achieve in a possible disaster. The avalanche training we do has a really high level of success. The success of our friends in responding to the event made us happy in the training, which also included search and rescue dogs.
