Avalanche Drill in Erzurum: The Civil Defense Search and Rescue Units of Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency (AFAD) conducted an avalanche drill at Konaklı Ski Center.

Avalanche drill was performed in Konaklı region with the participation of search and rescue dogs. Scenario 4 athletes floating on the ski slope dangerous and avalanche while skiing in the zone remained under the avalanche. AFAD and Civil Defense Search and Rescue teams were informed about the incident and the rescuers were directed to Konaklı region. Upon the request of reinforcement of the said teams, 2 rescue rescue team was sent to Konaklı with 50 rescue rescue team. Meanwhile, 112 Emergency Teams and Gendarmerie Troops were also alerted. The wounded were sent to the center of the ski facilities with snow engines. The ambulance and the wounded were sent to the Regional Training and Research Hospital.
