An enormous ski resort in Erciyes

Erciyes is an enormous ski resort: Owners and senior managers of ski centers in Austria, the world's most important winter tourism center with a 25 percent share of winter tourism in the world, came to Kayseri to see Erciyes.

Expressing that they were very impressed by the Erciyes winter tourism center, businessmen stated that Erciyes will be an enormous ski resort in a few years.

Austrian businessmen in Erciyes admired Erciyes, both skiing and taking the gondola to the stations near the summit and examining the tracks. Kayseri Erciyes Inc. Deputy General Manager Yücel İkiler showed the managers of 10 different ski centers around the facilities in Erciyes and gave information about the Erciyes Master Plan on the model.

Skidata AG Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skidata AG, Franz Holzer, who was in the Austrian delegation, stated that they are an international company that does business at 25 different points and has 600 businesses. Explaining that they visited ski centers around the world, Holzer said, “We came to Erciyes due to the developments in winter tourism in Kayseri. We were very impressed. “I think Erciyes will become an enormous ski resort in a few years”.

Franz Padinger, one of the Austrian businessmen, stated that he had been coming to Erciyes since 2000 and he was impressed by the change he saw every time he came. Having more than one ski resort in Austria and senior officials with Padinger voicing came to Kayseri, the ski tourism in Turkey has announced gelmekd to the point where they want to see.

Welcoming businessmen who can be called experts of winter tourism in Erciyes, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Murat Cahid Cıngı stated that Erciyes was gradually making a name for himself around the world. Explaining that tour operators have included Erciyes in their packages and that a large number of tourists will visit Erciyes in the coming years, Cıngı said, “Austrian guests are people who own a ski center in the Alps. Austria accounts for 25 percent of the world's ski industry. They came because our work was heard there and they were truly enchanted. In particular, they were amazed that the municipality has made such a huge investment, because in Europe these activities are carried out by the private sector. They liked our tracks, the integration of the tracks and our stations very much. "It made someone very happy to be appreciated by the experts of the sector."
