Erciyese ski resort owners in Ski Resort

Austrian businessmen in Erciyes admired Erciyes, both skiing and taking the gondola to the stations near the summit and examining the tracks. Kayseri Erciyes Inc. Deputy General Manager Yücel İkiler showed the managers of 10 different ski centers around the facilities in Erciyes and gave information about the Erciyes Master Plan on the model.

Franz Holzer, Chairman of Skidata AG, who is in the Austrian delegation, stated that they are an international company that operates in 25 different locations and has 600 businesses. Stating that they visited ski centers around the world, Holzer said, “We came to Erciyes due to the developments in winter tourism in Kayseri. We were very impressed. “I think Erciyes will become a great ski resort in a few years”.

Franz Padinger, one of the Austrian Businessmen, stated that he had been coming to Erciyes since 2000 and was very impressed by the change he saw every time he came. The owner of the ski resort in Austria and several senior officials with Padinger voicing came to Kayseri, said they wanted to see the point where the ski tourism in Turkey.

Welcoming businessmen who can be called experts of winter tourism in Erciyes, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Murat Cahid Cıngı also stated that Erciyes is gradually making its name heard around the world. Stating that tour operators have included Erciyes in their packages and that a very serious tourist mass will visit Erciyes in the coming years, Cıngı said, “Austrian guests are those who own a ski center in the Alps. Austria accounts for 25 percent of the world's ski industry. They came because our work was heard there and they were truly enchanted. They were particularly surprised that the municipality has made such a huge investment, because in Europe, these jobs are done by the private sector. They liked our tracks, the integration of the tracks and our stations. "It made someone very happy to be appreciated by the experts of the sector."
