Free public transportation for citizens over the age of 65 in Istanbul

Public transport is free for citizens over 65 years of age in Istanbul: Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbaş announced that citizens over the age of 65 will be able to use all public transportation vehicles for free during their election trip in Esenyurt.
With the application, citizens over the age of 65, IETT buses providing public transportation services in Istanbul, TCDD Lines, İstanbul Metro, Tram and Funicular Lines, İstanbul Otobüs A.Ş. lines, Private Public Bus Lines, Istanbul City Lines, Dentur and Turyol Lines and all the public transportation vehicles running on the Blue Line Lines will be able to travel for free. The application, 65 age and over the 700 thousand Istanbullun will benefit from the application said.
Kadir Topbaş, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, who attended the opening of the Roman Culture House in Esenyurt, did not break the demands of the citizens, played double-stage on the stage. Giving the good news that citizens over 65 are free to use public transport, Topbaş said, “We are starting today from here. It will board these vehicles for free, even without a card, showing the population paper. There are around 700 thousand people over 65 years old living in Istanbul. While getting on the bus, on the metro, on public transport, he will take out his identity card and get on it for free. We are starting from now on, ”he said.
