Yıldıztepe Ski to perform at the Central European University Cross Country Championship and Universities Cross Country Turkey Championship Technical Meeting: Çankırı will be held at Yıldıztepe Ski Center in Ilgaz district of the European University Cross Country Cup and Universities Ski technical meetings Running Championship in Turkey was made.
Turkey University Sports Federation (TUSF) and the European University Sports Federation of European Universities, held in organizing Ski Cross Cup with tsuf organized by the University's Ski technical meetings Running Championship in Turkey, Ilgaz Yıldıztepe Armar was held at the hotel.
Ilgaz District Governor Yusuf Özdemir, TUSF Board members Yakup Beytullahoğlu and Ahmet Tahillioglu, sportsmen, managers, coaches and skiers attended.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), District Governor Özdemir said that both organizations will be held at Yıldıztepe Ski Center on 11-13 February.
Emphasizing that Yıldıztepe has an important place in the world in ski running races, Özdemir said, “These competitions are important for both Çankırı and Ilgaz district. We have completed all our preparations for these races. I wish success to the contestants ”.
Çankırı Ski Trainers Association President Asst. Assoc. Dr. Emergency Half said that they held the technical meeting about the races and that they took the necessary precautions to prevent problems in the races. Half stated that the European Universities Skiing Cup has been organized traditionally since 2008 and wished the athletes success.
Stressing that the international races held in Turkey was an important country Half prestige, he said:
“These competitions are important for the promotion of ski resorts. Preparations for the races have been completed. The races will be held in our city for 3 days. We invite our people to the races in which approximately 8 athletes from 150 countries participate. Tomorrow, we are launching the European Universities Skiing Cup competitions, which will provide the highest participation in ski running in our country. These races, which are one of the most important organizations in the name of winter sports, are of great interest. Our Governor of Çankırı, Vahdettin Özcan, also gave importance to these races.
