Şanlıurfa continues to work for the Trolleybus Project: Şanlıurfa Municipality continues its efforts to implement the Trolleybus Project with 17 vehicles on a total route of 28 kilometers.
Having completed the feasibility studies of the project, Şanlıurfa Municipality submitted the project to the World Bank. It was deemed appropriate to give a loan of 40 million Euros for the Trolleybus Project, which was welcomed by the World Bank. For the Trolleybus Project, whose consultancy and construction tender process is currently ongoing, the municipality expanded the Necmettin Cevheri Boulevard (Diyarbakır Road) by 50 meters and made the middle part ready for the trolleybus.
Every vehicle has 180 PASSENGER CAPACITY

As a result of long-term researches, Şanlıurfa Municipality decided that the system, which is known as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in the literature, is the most suitable system in Şanlıurfa scale, which is locally known as Metrobus, and in the selection of vehicles to be used in the Metrobus system, construction, operating costs, environmentally friendly, comfortable and desired capacity were taken into consideration. . Turkey's future as it is the cheapest day of polluting the environment in order to provide the local public transport services, long-lasting, quiet, low operating costs with features such as tool trolley came forward.
