Kazakhstan-Iran-Turkmenistan railway will be opened this year

Kazakhstan-Iran-Turkmenistan railway will be opened this year: Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov's visit to Iran, Kazakhstan-Iran-Turkmenistan railway will be opened this year.
During his visit to Iran, Meredov met with Iranian counterpart Muhammed Javad Zarif on bilateral talks on energy, trade and transportation.
It was stated that the Kazakhstan-Iran-Turkmenistan railway line project, the construction of which started in 2009, will be completed and opened for transportation this year.
The railway project, which is part of the north-south international transport corridor, is expected to provide a positive impact on the cost of freight and human transport by providing support for the journey to Russia and the Gulf countries.
