High Volt Warning in the İzmit-Gebze YHT Line: The Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train (YHT) Project line has been warned that citizens should be careful due to the fact that 27 thousand 500 volts are supplied to the section starting from the Gebze direction to the Köseköy lines in the direction of Ankara.
In a written statement made by Kocaeli Governorate, within the scope of the project Gebze-Köseköy Section Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Project, approximately 500 meters from Gebze train station, starting from Izmit direction, along the 56 mile from the Ankara line, Kartepe district Köseköy station until the electrification work was reported in the section.
Within the scope of electrification tests, it was stated that a high voltage of 08.00 volts will be given to the line from 27:500 today, and it was noted that in terms of safety of life and property, it was noted that electric train lines should not be navigated, climbed on poles, conductors should not be approached and fallen wires should not be touched.
