Eskişehir-Istanbul high-speed train works continue

Eskişehir-İstanbul high speed train works are continuing rapidly: Transport Minister Lütfi Elvan said that the high speed train works are being sabotaged.
Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, was the guest of Ankara's Agenda Program, moderated by Batuhan Yaşar on TGRT News screens.
Referring to the high-speed train work, Elvan announced that a total of 28 kilometers of cable was cut by unidentified people. Lütfi Elvan said, “We want to open the Eskişehir-İstanbul high-speed train line as soon as possible. We are in a very intense work. All our friends, from the top bureaucrats of our ministry to the lowest bureaucrats, are on the field right now. We constantly follow, we squeeze companies. Unfortunately, while we were working hard on one hand, we faced the problem of cutting cables, especially within the borders of Sakarya and Kocaeli. A total of 28 kilometers of cable has been cut so far. In other words, 28 kilometers of cable will be drawn again. It is not possible to add to the cut cables, it is necessary to retract. In fact, a certain part of the person who cut the cable in Kocaeli was burned. Despite this, no persons have been found so far. But we increased the security measures. I hope we will open it soon. "Except for a few small areas, we are currently making trial runs," he said.
