Visit of US Students to the 3rd Bridge Construction Site: New York Buffalo University students organized a technical trip to the 3rd Bridge construction site. American students had the opportunity to witness how the world's largest and longest suspension bridge was built.
The technical trips organized within the scope of the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge and North Marmara Motorway project continue. The project, implemented by ICA, had visitors last weekend. New York Buffalo University students, who came to Istanbul as part of the joint undergraduate program of Istanbul Technical University, saw the bridge and highway project on site and received information about the project.
The Buffalo University group first followed a presentation of technical details about the project. Students had the opportunity to learn the last point reached in the project in detail. The group of 17 students, consisting of students and academics, had the chance to see the construction site where the bridge towers continue to be built. While the students witnessed the construction process of the project, they asked the team about their questions about the bridge and the highway. The students had the opportunity to see the rise of the bridge towers on the Asian and European sides by taking a boat tour on the Bosphorus. US students also examined the concrete batching plant serving the bridge and highway construction site.
