In the next period, we will have very important works especially for infrastructure investments. One of the main purposes of my visit is to watch the Eskişehir train station crossing works on site. I know that the people of Eskişehir want this to be finished as soon as possible. In this context, I wanted to consult with our contractor friends, our governor and our deputies, and how and in what way we can speed up this process and talk about it and make an on-site inspection ”.
Pointing out that Eskişehir has become a suburb of Ankara with regular YHT flights, Elvan continued as follows:
“As of now, it carries over 2 million passengers. This will increase the interaction especially between Eskişehir and Ankara. After examining the line connecting Eskişehir to Istanbul, we will look at them if there are any problems. Our goal is to activate the Eskişehir-Istanbul High Speed ​​Train line as soon as possible and to ensure the rapid interaction of our citizens of Eskişehir with Istanbul. Our connection between Eskişehir and Istanbul will be completed within a month, maybe 1 months. We will try to complete, we are trying, and my work will be in this direction. Our citizens will have the opportunity to reach Istanbul from Eskişehir in 1,5 hour 1 minutes, maybe 50 hours. Therefore, a citizen who leaves Ankara will have the opportunity to reach Istanbul in 2 hours or 3 hours and 3 minutes via Eskişehir. I think this is a very important development for our country. "

“I cannot give a date for now. But let me express this. I will come together especially with contractor friends on this line. Which department are we at? How much part we have completed, I want to see all of them, but we started testing in many sections. There are only two parts that we want to solve the problems there as well. We are trying to overcome this problem that has arisen due to a landslide.

Explaining that the works on the modern station building to be built in Eskişehir are continuing, Elvan stated that he gave the necessary instructions about the underpass to be built in Ertuğrulgazi District.
Elvan stated that they wanted the Eskişehir station pass to be completed as soon as possible, and we had a request to "complete it by February 15", but in order to be a little more flexible, we will open this place to the service of the citizen until the end of February. Here, the important thing for us is the completion of this project as soon as possible ”.
Elvan stated that they give importance to logistics centers in recent years and said:
“Our logistics center in Eskişehir is about to be completed. I hope we will realize the line connecting this center to the organized industry. We want to make our companies have a structure that can further increase the competitive power of our companies and reduce their costs further. In this context, we attach great importance to logistics centers. If we want to increase our competitiveness, if we want stronger companies to compete in the world, we need such logistics centers. This logistics center will contribute a lot to the development of Eskişehir industry, especially. I hope we will put Eskişehir logistics center into service as soon as possible. If you want to see the reason why we care about Eskişehir, just look at our infrastructure investments of 3,2 billion lira. We tripled the divided roads in the Eskişehir hinterland.
