Prime Minister Erdoğan Inspected the Sincan Batıkent Metro Line: Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made examinations on the Batıkent-Sincan metro line and said, "The normal completion date, including the electromechanical and signaling, was the end of 2014, the line is finished a year earlier."

Prime Minister Erdogan made examinations on the Sincan-Batıkent metro line. Stating that he was performing a test drive in the Batıkent-Sincan subway, Erdogan said, “It will start normal driving from the beginning of the year. Of course, the transfer date of the subways from Ankara Metropolitan Municipality to the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication is 25 April 2011. Tenders have been held since then, with a total budget of 2 billion 565 million liras. The length of the Batıkent-Sincan metro line is 15,5 kilometers and the number of stations in between is 11. The place delivery date is February 28, 2012 and now it is completely commissioned as a result of the testing works. The completion of the construction part, the tender price is 110 million 612 thousand 560 pounds. According to the contract, the completion date of the construction part of the work is February 27, 2014. The normal end date of the line, including electromechanical and signaling, was the end of 2014, the line is finished one year earlier. This of course is the proof that both the Ministry, the Metropolitan and the contractor firm have hugged the effort, how much we attach importance to this work at the moment. ”

WE ARE TRYING TO FINISH THE KIZILAY-CAYYOLU METRO EARLY

Stating that the length of the Kızılay-Çayyolu subway line is 16,5 kilometers and the number of stations is 11, Erdogan said, “The place delivery date is February 28, 2012, the tender price of the construction part is 131 million 964 thousand 111 liras. The completion date of the construction part of the work is February 27, 2014. The normal end date including electromechanics and signaling was the end of 2014, I hope we will have finished it a year ago. There is an effort to finish early there, ”he said.

Giving information about Tandogan-Keçiören metro works, Prime Minister Erdogan said, “The length of the line is 11,5 kilometers, including the station. The number of stations is 10. The site delivery date is February 9, 2012. The tender price of the construction part is 274 million 630 thousand liras. According to the contract, the completion date of the construction part of the work is June 8, 2014. As of today, the realization rate is 59 percent. More than half of it is now happening. The line is targeted to be completed in 2014. We aim to finish it before the end of 2014 ”.

THE TOTAL VEHICLE TO BE DELIVERED BY THE END OF THIS MONTH WILL BE 42 UNITS

Prime Minister Erdogan, said the following:
“As you know, the electro-mechanical works of Ankara subways are a contract taken over from our municipality. The tender price is 175 million Euros. It is the Batıkent-Sincan line with the modification of the Kızılay-Batıkent line. Kızılay-Çayyolu electromechanical works are 59,5 million euro. This is provided by our Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications. Electromechanical works of Tandogan-Keçiören are at the tender stage. The overall realization rate of electromechanical works and signaling is 66 percent. Here, there is a delicacy in the vehicle purchase business of Ankara subways. The number of vehicles is 324. The tender price is 391 million 231 thousand dollars. The cost of a vehicle is 1 million 207 thousand 500 dollars. The contract date is 13 August 2012 and the first vehicle delivery date is 13 April 2014. Delivery date of the first vehicle was 27 July 2013, 9 months before the delivery of the first vehicle was planned. The vehicle delivered to date is 24. Total vehicles to be delivered by the end of this month will be 42. New vehicles have technological innovations, and dynamic roadmap at door bases. There are applications for disabled people and special groups. It is possible to communicate with the driver in an emergency. There is a bellows system for passenger passengers between vehicles. Closed-circuit imaging system is an environmentally friendly vehicle, not oily, and less energy-consuming vehicles and compressors that regain braking energy. We will also see the vehicle interior walls at all stations and vehicles. There are Seljuk motifs there.

Erdogan said, “Especially as of this holiday, a process is starting. By mid-2014, by the end of the year, by opening other stations, we will have equipped a large part of our subway in Ankara. ”
