The giant railway project in Uzbekistan: The government of Uzbekistan is preparing to implement the biggest railway project in the country's history. It aims to complete Tajikistan by 2016 by Fergana rail network.
The railway network that will connect Uzbekistan to the Fergana Valley will be provided by the 3 kilometer-long tunnel from the bottom of Kamchik Mountain, which is the height of 500 bin 20. Uzbekistan stopped trains from the 1 January 2010 to the Fergana valley through Tajikistan because of disagreements between them. About 30 million of the 10 million population of Uzbekistan live in this region.
The project, which will take a great sigh of transportation to Uzbekistan, will cost around 2 billion dollars.
Meanwhile, China has given 350 credit support to Uzbekistan for the project. The remaining part of the project cost will be covered by Uzbekistan.
