Marmaray tradesman's face

Marmaray made the shopkeepers smile: The intensity in Marmaray due to the weekend made the tradesmen around Kazlıçeşme and Yenikapı stations smile.
The intensity of Marmaray, which connects Asia and Europe with a tunnel under the sea, made the tradesmen around Kazlıçeşme and Yenikapı stations smile.
Citizens coming to Yenikapı and Kazlıçeşme stations on the European side to travel with Marmaray, which has been providing free service since its opening on October 29, increased the sales of the tradesmen in the region.
Şükrü Aslan, the buffet manager in Yenikapı, said that the customer density increased with the opening of Marmaray. “We used to sell 15-30 kilos of doner before, now we are selling about 70 kilos. As a tradesman, we are pleased with this ”.
Buffetci Selahattin Ödlü also evaluated Marmaray as a blessing, explaining that there is not much activity at the moment, but they are hopeful. “I went to Üsküdar in 6 minutes, there can be no such blessing. Thank you to our esteemed Prime Minister and managers, ”he said.
Doner Restaurant Yusuf Halil, on the other hand, stated that there was an intensity that they had not encountered before and said, “We have been waiting for the opening of Marmaray for 10 years. I hope our work will be fine from now on, it will make us smile too ”.
"I'm here all the time from now on"
Serkan Arıcan, who has a bagel counter at Kazlıçeşme station, said that the station was busy and this reflected positively on his work. Noting that he had set up his workbench elsewhere before, but came to Kazlıçeşme station after Marmaray was put into service, Arıcan stated that the region was very active. KazanArıcan, who stated that he was satisfied with his work, said, "From now on, I am here all the time."
Taxi driver Abdullah Çay said, “Thank you very much to our elders. They brought the project to the people of Turkey for 100 years. We are grateful to them. Our work is very active. The pouch started to fill up, ”he said.
