Kösemusul: We transferred the Karasu Port and railway works to the Prime Minister. Mahmut Kösemusul, Chairman of the Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO), stated that they conveyed the latest situation regarding the Karasu Port and Karasu Railway Line works to Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan.
Noting that they had meetings with Prime Minister Erdoğan during his visit to Finland, Sweden and Poland on 5-9 November, SATSO President Kösemusul stated that Erdoğan showed a special interest in Sakarya. Turkey Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) President Rifat a file containing the work they carried out in 2023 with Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they presented to the prime minister.
Stating that they conveyed to Prime Minister Erdogan that Sakarya has surpassed Istanbul and Kocaeli in the export increase and the numbers are increasing rapidly, Kösemusul emphasized that they conveyed the latest situation regarding the Karasu Port and Karasu Railway Line works to Prime Minister Erdogan. President Kösemusul said, “We conveyed the latest situation in the Karasu Port and Karasu Railway Line works, which are vital for the future of Sakarya and connect the city to the world, to our Prime Minister. He was interested in details. With the support of our Prime Minister, we wish to open up from Karasu to the world, and we attach great importance to the Karasu Port and Railway Line. " he spoke.
Kösemusul noted that Sakarya, the brand city of the future where history and modern meet, will cease to be a transit city and become the center of industry, agriculture, trade and tourism with its natural beauty.
