CHP brought the delay in the Parliament to Parliament: CHP Deputy Chairman Faik Öztrak, Marmaray delays in the project and the International Chamber of Commerce in the International Chamber of Commerce to improve the suburban lines of the proposed motion.
Öztrak, who submitted a question proposal to the Turkish Parliament Presidency upon the request of the Minister of Transport, Binali Yıldırım, said: “The AMD joint venture group whose contract has been terminated has put forward the objections regarding the project and why the work has been left unfinished. What is the latest situation in my international arbitration of the dispute between the said joint venture group with Turkey? Is the arbitration process over? What is the decision taken if the arbitration process is over? Have any payments been made to the companies regarding the job in question? Is it true that the disruption of the integrity of the system by breaking the project into disadvantage in terms of passenger and transport safety? Have any studies been done about the risks that may arise due to the fragmentation of the system integrity? Have necessary measures been taken in this regard? ” asked questions.
