Ankara-Istanbul YHT flights start in February 2014: Transport Minister Yıldırım announced that the High Speed ​​Train between Ankara and Istanbul will be opened in February. The opening will be before the local elections in March
Binali Yıldırım, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, stated that the speed train project between Ankara and Istanbul has come to an end. Yıldırım made a presentation in the Plan and Budget Commission about the 2014 budget. In his speech here, he gave some information about the projects they are conducting.
Talking about the rail system, Minister Yıldırım also mentioned the high-speed train project which is currently in operation between Ankara and Istanbul and that some parts of the line have been started. Yildirim, who announced the commencement of high-speed train services in February, informed the members of the commission about the other ongoing projects.
On the other hand, Minister Binali Yıldırım stated that the Kızılay-Çayyolu metro in Ankara will be put into service at the beginning of 2014. He added that the Keçiören-Tandoğan metro will be put into service in the middle of 2014.
