Our citizens are very satisfied with Marmaray

Our citizens are very pleased with Marmaray: TCDD Deputy General Manager Veysi Kurt stated that they are constantly traveling the trains in Marmaray and said, “Our citizens are very satisfied. They pray and thank you all the time ”.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Kurt stated that they have been favored by the public since the opening of Marmaray and that they are working hard to avoid any trouble.
As of today, the number of 350 thousand passengers will be reached voicing Kurt said, this is over capacity, he said.
Emphasizing that the interest and curiosity of the citizens cause intensity, Kurt said, “There may be some minor problems due to this intensity. We are constantly checking the system with our administrative and technical team. "We are eliminating these problems immediately."
Tourists also show interest
Kurt pointed out that the signaling of the current system is set up at ten minutes intervals and that these frequencies correspond to the 216 expedition on a daily basis, and that this means that the 250 thousand passengers will travel with the normal values.
Veysi Kurt, said:
“However, although we work with the same frequency, we think that 300-350 thousand people travel a day. We are constantly traveling on trains. Our citizens are very satisfied. They constantly pray and thank you. Some citizens give advice, sometimes even a little. Our citizens, who express that they have crossed two continents in a short time, are quite satisfied and happy with the situation. We see that tourists are also interested in the system. They especially visit our Yenikapı station and examine the very important works exhibited. Of course, we, as railroaders, thank our Prime Minister and Minister. Indeed, a very important work in the world and in Turkey. It is impossible not to see the value of this, we really see it in our people. We can read this satisfaction because of our people. "
"Useful for the disabled"
Cemal Akkaya, who used Marmaray for the first time, stated that the Marmaray Project is a source of pride for Istanbul and said that they live this pride to the fullest.
Expressing their excitement, Akkaya said, “It is a proud project for a unique brand city like Istanbul. Since it is the first day, there is an unavoidable intensity, but in the coming days, I believe it will improve. Good things will happen. I sat in Kavacık for a while. We could not cross between the two continents because of fog. Citizens will no longer experience this. In a short time, people will go a long distance ”.
Ilyas Hacıhaliloğlu, the disabled person who uses Marmaray, stated that the system is very suitable for the disabled and the elevators are very comfortable and useful.
Stating that the officers treat disabled people very well, Hacıhaliloğlu said, “I got on for the first time, I am pleased. It's a bit intense but a beautiful project. As a disabled person, I was forced to get on city buses. But I didn't have that difficulty here. I have been disabled for 30 years, I have used Marmaray very comfortably ”.
