Bad news for Istanbul: High-speed train will not arrive in Haydarpaşa: The stops of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed train line, which is still under construction, have been determined. According to the statement, Pendik will be the last stop of the high-speed train. Passengers will move from Pendik to Marmaray via the suburban line.

29 October 2013, the opening ceremony of Marmaray after the opening ceremony planned to be implemented in Ankara-Istanbul YHT line was announced. Total 9 will stop at the YHT line, passengers from Ankara to Istanbul, respectively Polatli, Eskisehir, Bozüyük, Bilecik, Pamukova, Sapanca, Izmit and Gebze will pass through Pendik. This trip will last for 3 hours.

TO BE INTEGRATED IN MARMARAY BY THE BATHROOM LINE

The 3-kilometer YHT line, which will reduce the journey between the two provinces to 533 hours, will allow citizens to travel between Ankara and Istanbul at a cheaper price. Following the Ankara-Eskişehir line, with the launch of the Ankara-Istanbul line, the railway share, which is 10 percent in passenger transportation, is expected to increase to 78 percent.
Ankara-Istanbul YHT line will be integrated to Marmaray with the suburban line at Pendik. Thus, uninterrupted transportation from Europe to Asia will be provided.
