Although it was stated in the previous statements that the trial voyages would start on September 30 and the regular voyages would start on October 29, the trial voyage could not be made 3 days before due to some problems during the works. As Binali Yıldırım, Minister of Transport, Communication and Maritime Affairs, who came to Kocaeli recently, if nothing goes wrong, the first test drive of the high-speed train will be made on October 29. While the work was accelerated for the line to catch the trial voyage on October 29, the rail laying works between Gebze and Izmit were completed to a great extent. In the 9-kilometer section, on which 10 tunnels, 22 bridges, 28 culverts were renovated, and 2 new culverts and 56 underpasses were built, the works were mostly completed. Nowadays, the teams removed the traves, which were lined up like a wall along the line in the city of Izmit, where the old ones were removed, and started laying them under the new line. The Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Binali Yıldırım, is also expected to come to Kocaeli and receive a briefing regarding these works in the coming days. In addition to these stations, the high-speed train will stop at Sakarya's Arifiye and Pamukova, Bilecik and Bozüyük stations and pick up and unload passengers. At these stations where the High Speed ​​Train will stop, arrangements were made in accordance with the high speed train.
