Istanbul metro will extend to Silivri: Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Topbaş gave the good news of the metro to Silivri and said, “With the subway we are planning, Silivri will no longer be a summer resort and meet with the center of Istanbul. Topbaş met with citizens on the beach of Silivri after iftar the previous evening. Providing information about the investments made in the district, Topbaş announced that he will go to the metro in Silivri.
Topbaş gave the following information about the subway project: “By calling Silivri the metro, we expressed something that no one's dreams could reach. Only we do this and take steps. We are doing the project work of the metro. By metro, Silivri will cease to be a summer resort, it will meet the center of Istanbul. We want to implement the project in a short time. As a municipality, we have resources and borrowing opportunities. We realize our annual budget by 98 percent. As a public institution, we achieve something that is difficult even in the private sector. Because we use our resources correctly.
