Expropriations started for YHT project: AK Party Bandırma District Vice President Yakup Ataş stated that the expropriation process was started for the High Speed Train (YHT) line on the Bandırma-Bursa-Ayazma-Osmaneli route.
In a statement made to journalists, Ataş stated that the immovables on the route between Yenişehir and Vezirhan will be expropriated by TCDD General Directorate within the scope of the Bandırma-Bursa-Ayazma-Osmaneli HRP Project included in this year's investment program.
Emphasizing that YHT is the dream of those living in Bandırma, Ataş informed that the total cost of the project is approximately 800 million TL.
Stating that the railway connection from Bandırma to Bilecik is expected to be completed by the end of 2015, Ataş added that the works on the Bandırma-İzmir line are continuing uninterruptedly.
