Transport Ministers of the countries of the Cooperation Council of Turkish Speaking Countries convened in Baku
3 SIGNS COUNTRY AGREEMENT
Agreement between the Ministers of Transport of the Turkic Speaking Countries Cooperation Council (Turkic Council) Countries, "Establishing a sister port relationship between Baku, Aktua and Samsun Sea Ports" was signed among the 3 countries.
Azerbaijan Transport Minister Ziya Memnedov, Kazakhstan Transport Minister Askar Zhumagaliyev and Transport and Maritime Affairs Minister Binali Yildirim attended the meeting. At the meeting, cooperation was reached in the field of development of transportation. It was emphasized that cooperation between countries in land, sea and railway transportation should be increased and in this context, it is important to develop multi-mode transportation with Caspian transition.
Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yildirim said that all obstacles to transport between the member states of the Turkic Council should be removed and transport should be free.
Lightning, informed about the progress achieved in the field of transportation on bulunarak Turkey, Azerbaijan highlighted the importance of developing cooperation between both expressed their satisfaction with the progress made in this field in Kazakhstan and countries.
Yıldırım emphasized that when the Turkish Council was established, a number of goals were put forward, common values were developed, the economy was improved, cooperation was increased, and for these to be realized, the most advanced cooperation in the field of transportation and communication was essential.
Yildirim said that the increase in trade in countries without seas, which is twice as much as the seaside countries stating that Yıldırım:
“When we take this into consideration, we must definitely strengthen our rail and road connections. We saw this need and started the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Project. Now this project is about to finish and will be completed in 2014. These projects not only in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey will not only combine, will facilitate transport in the whole of Central Asia, west of China. We are making the old Silk Road permanent with the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Project. Thus, we combine the east and west of the world both as infrastructure and as civilization. ”
VISIT THE TURKISH CULTURAL
Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries visited the Minister of Transport and Maritime Binali Yıldırım and the Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev Turkish Martyrdom in Azerbaijan for the Meeting of Ministers of Transport. The ministers, who left their cloves to the martyrdom and prayed during the visit, later left the martyrdom.
