TCDD's Signalization System is Renewed

The Signalization System of TCDD is Renewed: Work has been initiated on the Izmir-Manisa-Bandırma line, known as the 3rd zone, in order to control the signaling system of the barriers at level crossings connected to TCDD from a single center. The works, whose infrastructure preparations are continuing, are expected to take at least two years. When the preparations are completed, the level crossing barriers will automatically become train sensitive. Barriers at the crossings can be controlled from the Izmir Traffic Control Center.

The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) connected Manisa feverish work was started at the train station. It was stated that the barriers in the level crossings will be controlled from a single center with the signaling system. The study is carried out on the Izmir-Manisa-Bandırma line, known as the 3rd zone. The works, whose infrastructure preparations are continuing, are expected to take at least two years. When the preparations are completed, the level crossing barriers will automatically become train sensitive. Barriers at the crossings will be controlled from Izmir Traffic Control Center. In addition, the series at the train station will be electrified. Electric locomotive trains will travel by block distance, not by station distance. In other words, the diesel locomotive will be removed and the electric machine will come. In this way, exhaust emissions will be reduced and trains will be made environmentally sensitive. This will also contribute to the economy. Less energy will be saved by transporting more cargo with trains. One of the innovations made at the station is the landscaping. Paving stones are laid around the building, which has been revised in the past years. The studies are expected to be completed within 3-4 days.
