The rubber material rising above the asphalt level almost invites accidents. While some drivers notice the situation and try to change lanes, some drivers do not realize the situation and pass over the rubber material. Highways officials said that the fault was not in their responsibility and that they reported the fault to TCDD 3rd Regional Directorate in writing. There was no statement from TCDD officials regarding the issue.
