Tehran awaits steps from Yerevan for Iran-Armenia railway

Tehran's Ambassador to Yerevan Muhammed Reisi said that the Armenian administration should take steps for the Iran-Armenia railway.

“We have been discussing the Iran-Armenia railway for years. When this line ends, 5 Iranian tourists will come to Armenia per week. Armenia needs to complete its construction on its land. Of course, a railway stretching from Iran to Georgia serves the interests of Armenia. ” He stressed that Iran is the best friend of Armenia.

Mentioning that Iran is ready for investment for the hydroelectric power plant, Ambassador Muhammed Reisi stated that his country did not experience any energy shortage and that they wanted to solve the problems of Armenia on energy, especially natural gas.
