TCDD launches renovation work in Kahramanmaraş
AK Party Kahramanmaraş Deputy Sıtkı Güvenç said to AA correspondent that the rails of 49 and 58 were replaced by 60 rails and tree sleepers were replaced by concrete sleepers as part of the renovation works. Stating that most of the developed countries prefer the railways in the transportation network, Güvenç said:

“Our friends completed the 10-kilometer road work between Beyoğlu and Narlı, where 457 million 605 thousand 52 TL was allocated. The 1984-kilometer renovation works on our Narlı-Gölbaşı line, which was last maintained in 90, started in May. 42 million 753 thousand 913 TL was allocated to this study, which is planned to be completed in September. Our target is this year, Kahramanmaraş and
to finish all work between neighboring provinces' border stations. ”

Referring to the Logistics Center, which is planned to be built in Türkoğlu, Güvenç added that the project will contribute to the development of the entire region, especially Kahramanmaraş, adding that it will strengthen the outward opening of businessmen, provide competitive advantage and will have much more voice in foreign markets.
