Demolished Steam Locomotive
The steam locomotive, which was not used in Çankırı for nearly 40 years and produced in 1931, was taken to Istanbul for display at the Rahmi Koç Museum.
Rahmi Koc Museum Workshop Director Ilhan Akidil, AA correspondent, said in a statement, similar to the number of locomotives is very low, preserving them want to show younger generations said.
Stating that they will exhibit in the museum by explaining in detail what the locomotive did when it worked, Akidil said, “We will save the locomotive from idle state and enable young people to understand the past better. We plan to exhibit the locomotive within 2 years after the necessary studies. ”
