It was reported that the infrastructure preparations for the construction of the cable car to Giresun Castle are continuing.
Dursun Ali Şahin, the governor of Giresun, met with the company officials who carried out the project.
The total length of the cable car will be one thousand 280 meters and the travel time will be 5 minutes Sahin, said:
“We slowly started to get the results of the efforts we made in the ropeway project works for Giresun Castle. Currently, the last details about the project we have brought up to the tender stage are discussed. As a result of our intense efforts, we are planning to build the cable car, whose project was approved by the Trabzon Cultural Heritage Preservation Board, with a build-operate-transfer model. The work required for the construction of the ropeway project, which will have no cost to the state, has come to an end, and we aim to start the construction as soon as possible and complete it in 5-6 months as a result of the tender.
