Liberalization of Turkey Gul has approved the Law on Railway Transport

President Abdullah Gul, Turkey "Law on the Liberalization of Railway Transport" u approved.

With the law, TCDD is restructured as a railway infrastructure operator, and TCDD Tasimacilik AS is established by leaving the units related to the train operation.

According to the law, TCDD will serve as a railway infrastructure operator on the part of the state-owned railway infrastructure transferred to it.

In case of demand for the construction of the tension line, the immovable properties required shall be expropriated by TCDD and the easement right shall be established in favor of the requestor.
SPECIAL RAILWAYS
Public legal entities and companies can be authorized by the Ministry to build their own railway infrastructure, to be a railway infrastructure operator on this infrastructure, and the railway train operator on the national railway infrastructure network.

Within one year after TCDD Tasimacilik AS becomes legal entity, the personnel to be transferred to TCDD Tasimacilik AS and the towing and towed vehicles used in services related to freight and passenger transport will be determined by the TCDD Board of Directors.

Staff, staff and positions, tools, equipment and devices will be deemed to have been transferred to TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ.

According to the law, employees in TCDD will be paid extra retirement bonus if they retire. Among those employed in TCDD who are eligible for pension, the retirement bonuses of those who apply within one month, 25 percent for those who have a maximum of three years to retire from the age limit, 30 percent for those who have more than three years and less than five years from age limit, and five years from age limit to retirement. and 40 percent more will be paid for those who remain more.

Retired personnel will not be able to be employed in TCDD and TCDD Tasimacilik AS within 5 years from the date of retirement.
