Japanese railways company will distribute seven thousand Apple iPad mini to its employees
East Japan Railway (JR), one of Japan's largest rail transport companies, will distribute about seven thousand Apple iPad mini tablets to its employees. Kiodo agency announced the news.
The main purpose of the company is to improve the quality of the service offered to customers. Wagon staff will be able to provide information about the tablets, delays and changes in the movement of the train. In general, all kinds of information can be transferred through devices.
JR representatives also indicated that officials would no longer have to carry about two kilograms of relevant weight. The electronic version of all necessary regulations, directives and similar documentation will be saved in the device's memory.
