With the projects, the distance between Edirne and Kars will decrease up to 8 hours.

According to this, the Ministry, which will start the projects with High Speed ​​Train (YHT) in the first place, will produce the majority of the eastern provinces with high speed-resistant iron networks during the next 10 year.

Adding yht'y head of the investment to be made in Eastern Anatolia, Turkey's Ministry aims to minimize the difference in distance between the east and the west. The Ministry will begin work in Malatya, Diyarbakır and Van regions after YHT in Sivas. With the introduction of YHT networks, the Edirne-Kars line, which can still be visited in 1.5 days, will be reduced to 8 hours. These projects are planned to be grown to the 2023 vision.

2023 billion dollars up to 45

In the 2023 total length of high-speed train line in Turkey will reach 10 thousand kilometers. The total cost of the high-speed train lines, which the Ministry of Transport is planning to complete by 2023, is expected to reach 45 billion dollars. 30 billion dollars of this budget is planned to be covered by China, while 15 billion dollars will be covered by the European Investment Bank and Islamic Development Bank.
