Railway workers marching to Parliament made a strike strike
Railway workers walking from 6 arms to Ankara against the privatization of railways took their breath in front of the Assembly. Addressing the AKP, the railway workers said they would go on strike on April 16 if the bill was not withdrawn.
Workers also took action as the government accelerated efforts to open railways to the private sector.
The members of the Turkish Transport-Sen and the United Transport Workers Union affiliated with the Kamu-Sen affiliated with the Kamu-Sen have joined forces against privatization.

Railway employees departing from Edirne, Izmir, Adana, Van, Kars, Samsun gathered in front of the General Directorate of State Railways early in the morning.
The supporters of the Labor Party and Adana Demirspor supported the railway workers, who marched to the parliament with their songs, banners and slogans in front of the Headquarters.
Railway workers protested the AKP with applause of sirens when the march cortege came in front of the Prime Ministry building, and held a sitting action for a while.
Railway workers, who made a press statement in front of the parliament, asked the government to withdraw the bill.
