Kemal Demirel Launches a Signature Campaign for the High Speed Train
Former CHP Deputy Kemal Demirel launched a petition for the high-speed train to arrive in Gemlik, Bursa.
Kemal Demirel collected a signature from Bursa's historical Kayhan Bazaar shopkeeper for high speed trains to Gemlik. Demirel said, “There was a railroad in Bursa before. With the law initiated by the Turkish Grand National Assembly in 1953, the railway was lifted. Since then, there has been a shortage of railways in Bursa. A protocol on railways was signed 5 months ago. We want the high speed train to pass through Gemlik and Yalova. I have given a question proposal for the high-speed train line to be removed from the gulf crossing on the Istanbul-Izmir highway. We are here for the high-speed train to take part in this project again by signing a campaign ”.
