High Speed Train Line to Diyarbakir
Turkey, with 6 YHT technology in Europe, has become the 8th world countries. Ankara-Konya High Speed Train, which was put into service on 24 August 2011, is 2,5 million km. and made more than 2,2 million passengers. The YHT, which entered service on the Ankara-Eskişehir line on 13 March 2009, is 6,5 million km. carried 7,5 million passengers on the road. The Eskişehir-Konya high speed train, which was opened with the opening attended by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, reduces the 7,5-hour road to 2 hours. Bursa bus connection is also provided to Eskişehir-Konya YHT flights. Konya-Bursa travel time, which is 8 hours by bus, decreases to 4 hours with YHT-bus connection. By 2023, high-speed trains will start operating between Eskişehir- Antalya, Erzincan- Trabzon, Bursa-Bandırma-Balıkesir- İzmir, Sivas-Erzincan-Kars. These connections will expand to Diyarbakır. Konya and Istanbul will be connected to each other by the end of the year.
