Ordu Çambaşı 15, the new favorite of ski tourism, hosted a thousand people

Çambaşı Ski Center, a part of which was completed after the works started in previous years in Çambaşı Plateau in Ordu's Kabadüz district, and which was put into service this season, hosted 15 thousand ski lovers.

Ordu Governor Orhan Düzgün told Anadolu Agency (AA) that the interest in Çambaşı Ski Center is increasing day by day.

Emphasizing that they have seen the results of the work that has been going on for years at Çambaşı Ski Center today, Düzgün said, “It is pleasing to see the citizens skiing. Last year babylift was installed. Nearly one kilometer ski run has been created. New facilities were recently tendered. I hope that towards the end of next year, the ski lifts will be completed and the length of the ski run will increase up to 10 kilometers ”.

Expressing that there is an effort to establish a holiday village on 250 decares of land in Çambaşı, Düzgün continued as follows:

'This holiday village will be able to serve tourism both in summer and winter. There will be riding areas, gardens and farms where natural products can be grown, and various units that will allow plateau tourism. I hope this will be a center of attraction not only for Ordu and the Black Sea, but also for those coming from Turkey and abroad. I believe that our ski center will be the center of attention for foreign tourism as well as domestic tourism. '

-'15 thousand people benefited from the center this season'-

Fevzi Turan, the Skiing Provincial Army Provincial Representative, reported that 15 has benefited from this year's ski resort.

Explaining that they are happy for providing skiing for 15 thousand people in the first season of Ordu Çambaşı Ski Center, Turan said:

'There were also people who came to ski, to watch the skiers. Interest in the center continues. There is intense demand not only from within the province but also from outside the province. I believe that with the completion of the facilities here, the number will increase to between 50 and 60 thousand annually.

Turan added that the instructors at the Ski Federation Army Provincial Office give ski lessons at the facility.

The Mayor of Yokuşdibi, Yener Kaya, stated that although 1 percent of the ski center within the boundaries of the town has been completed, the interest that has emerged surprised them and they are satisfied with the demand.
