Does the legal status of TCDD staff change?
The proposal for the establishment of the TCDD Transport Company was submitted to the Assembly as of 6 March 2013
GENERAL PURPOSE OF DESIGN
- With the draft, basically, the legal infrastructure for the railway infrastructure and train operators to be made by 2 separate legal entities is established. TCDD railway infrastructure operator in the new structure, TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. will operate a train.
In addition, the draft allows public legal entities and joint stock companies registered with the trade registry to operate railway infrastructure and train operations.
- The legal structure of both TCDD and TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. It is stated that both organizations are subject to Decree No. 233.
PERSONNEL STRUCTURE IS NOT CHANGED
TCDD currently working in the train management department will be transferred to TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş.
A senior management team of 1 people including 3 General Manager, 8 Deputy General Managers and 15 Heads of Departments is created in TCDD Transportation Inc.
There is no change in the status of the personnel in both TCDD and TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş.

MORE THAN THE FOLLOWING TCDD STAFF
Among the civil servants and contracted personnel who are currently working at TCDD, those who deserve retirement are given the opportunity to receive their bonuses with an increase in case of retirement. The relevant regulation is as follows:
Among the personnel employed in TCDD, who are eligible to receive a pension from the personnel subject to the annexes (I) and (II) of the Decree Law No. 399, those who apply for retirement within one month from the effective date of this Law;
a) 25 for those who have a maximum retirement age of three years, except for those whose old age is less than one year
b) 30 for age spouses less than three years and less than five years old,
c) 40 is paid for over five years and more for age limit retirement.
