TCDD Deputy General Director Duman visited KÜTSOyu
The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) Deputy General Manager Ismet Duman, Kutahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KÜTSO) visited.

In the meeting, evaluating the importance of railway transportation in terms of companies, high-speed train and logistics projects for Kütahya were discussed in a statement, said:
“TCDD Deputy General Manager İsmet Duman has made efforts to meet the expectations of the private sector in legislative arrangements, the draft law on railways is in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and it is expected that it will soon be enacted, that the sector will be freed by TCDD's monopoly by law, and private companies will also be freed with their own freight and passenger trains. He said that he could make transportation so that the railway sector would be revived. Duman also stated that with the new railway projects, efforts have been made to increase the efficiency of the private sector and to reduce the rail transportation costs. Duman underlined that increasing the share of rail transport in transportation is important in terms of easing road traffic, reducing traffic accidents and also reducing environmental pollution and fuel consumption. Stating that approximately 200 million dollars of electrification and signalization projects, which are under construction on the Alayunt-Kütahya-Tavsanli line, will be established, Duman said that this collaboration will contribute to the economic revival of the region and also increase the capacity and safety of cargo-passenger transportation by rail.
In the statement, it was announced at the meeting that Delen suggested creating the Gar Museum in Kütahya.
