Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Topbaş explained why he was a candidate again before the upcoming local elections and said, “I feel agreement on not continuing”. 7 BILLION DOLLAR INVESTMENT IN RAIL SYSTEM

Kabataş- We are at the tender stage of the first phase of the Mahmutbey metro. We are opening the Esenler Bağcılar-Başakşehir subway this summer. MARMARAY NIGHT DAY WILL WORK
Marmaray is not only one of the worldwide transportation system as a dream project for the History of the Republic of Turkey. Kadıköy-Kartal Metro and subsequently Üsküdar-Sancaktepe metro will be integrated with Marmaray. Passengers coming to Yenikapı via Marmaray will reach Sarıyer, Beşiktaş, Mecidiyeköy, Bağcılar, Esenler and Başakşehir Olimpiyatköy without interruption. We will do this and Istanbul will catch this bar. All our efforts are for this. They couldn't imagine what I said. Marmaray means uninterrupted railway crossing from London to China on the East-West axis. People will move during the day and logistics service at night. Haliç Metro Bridge is one of the backbones of the integrated transportation system I mentioned. It's a 19-year event. It is finally completed. Connecting Yenikapı to Taksim means 1 million passengers a day using the rail system.
METROBUS IS AN EXAMPLE OF PARIS
Making evaluations about the metrobus system, Topbaş said, “Those who criticize this project should go to Paris Municipality and get a briefing. Our Zoning Commission President and the delegation, including members of the opposition parties, went to Paris. There they said, "We are thinking of applying the metrobus system in Istanbul to Paris."
