In his speech at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Ağbaba stated, "I demand that all of the temporary workers struggling to survive with great difficulties be recruited into the staff."
Republican People's Party (CHP) Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, in his speech at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, said, “I have raised the problems of temporary workers working in the State Railways from here before. Workers sometimes work for a month, sometimes three months, trying to bring bread to their homes, and when they get sick, they cannot even find money to go to a hospital. 5 workers working temporarily under the 847th Regional Directorate of State Railways in Malatya. In the past, these workers were recruited bit by bit, starting with the most day-time worker. Now there is a study by the General Directorate of State Railways. The General Directorate is preparing to recruit high school graduates from temporary workers. In other words, it is preparing to give staff by taking the education status as a criterion, not the longest employee. While a primary school graduate who has worked for two thousand days cannot enter the cadre, the worker who works for two hundred days is recruited. Primary and secondary school graduates are reproaching against this unfair practice ”.
Ağbaba said, "I demand the General Directorate of Tcdd to give up this practice, which has caused reaction, and to recruit all of the temporary workers who struggle to survive with great difficulties."
